Last House singing & Glee

I am now in year 11 and I am in my house leadership position. Among all house competitions, House singing and glee are the most competitive and awarding competitions. Just like last year, each house gets to choose the song they want to sing. This year, however, we did not have lots of time like last year. We had only 5 weeks to prepare both singing and glee. We had to make a decision fast to make everything going. We chose <I want it that way> by Backstreet Boys for house singing.

Right before house glee, I was so nervous—my hands were shaking, and my heart was racing. But once we started performing, the nerves faded, and I focused on doing my best. House singing, on the other hand, felt completely different—it was almost magical. Standing there and hearing our voices blend perfectly, surrounded by the energy of the crowd, made the moment feel so majestic. Both performances were unforgettable in their own way!

The day after our performance, we got the result... Mulchat won the house singing and got 3rd for house glee! It was such an incredible experience, and it felt so rewarding to see all our hard work pay off. We practised almost every lunchtime leading up to the performance, putting in so much effort to get everything just right. Everyone gave their all, from perfecting harmonies to making sure our timing and energy were spot on. It was amazing to stand together on stage and deliver something we were all so proud of!
